SECURE FILE TRANSFER

Browser Settings

The application requires the TLS (Transport Layer Security) to be activated on your browser. Your browser must also allow cookies and support JavaScript.
Below you will find a brief guide to configuring the most frequently used browsers.

Microsoft Internet Explorer

To change your browser settings click on Tools in the menu and then select Internet options.

Click the "Advanced" tab and select "Security". Here TLS must be activated.

The settings for cookie handling are made under the "Privacy" tab. Go to "Advanced" where either "Automatic cookie handling" or "First-party cookies" "Accept" have to be activated.

To check whether JavaScript is activated go to the "Security" tab and select "Custom level". Under "Scripting" make sure "Active scripting" is activated.

Note:
In case you have configured the highest security level in Internet Explorer, we recommend adding the 'secfile.allianz.de' website as a trustworthy site. Otherwise it will be impossible to use the Internet service of Allianz Secure File Transfer.

Mozilla Firefox

Open the configuration of browser properties in the menu under Tools by clicking on Settings.

Under "Privacy" make sure "Accept cookies" is activated.

Under "Webfeatures" make sure "Activate JavaScript" is marked (X).

Under "Advanced" go to "Security" and activate the setting "Use TLS".

Opera

In the Tools menu select Settings. Then, in the ensuing settings dialog, activate the "Advanced" tab.

On the left-hand side select "Contents, description" and make sure "Activate JavaScript" is checked.

Go to "Cookies" and make sure under "Normal cookies" that either "Accept all cookies" or "Confirm each cookieindividually" is selected.

You will find the settings for TLS under "Security". Click on "Security protocols". In the new window that opens make sure that "TLS" is activated.

Konqueror

Select the Settings menu and click on Set up Konqueror. Check the following properties:

(1) Java & JavaScript: JavaScript tab: allow either "activate JavaScript globally" or, under "Domain-specific", the execution of JavaScript for the secfile.allianz.de website.

(2) Cookies: Rules and regulations tab: allow cookies

(3) Encryption: TLS tab: activate TLS
